A Beachy Little Christmas and the Jersey Shore – Let’s “Seas” the Day
Winter and Summer, the beach at the Jersey Shore is a great place to be. This week, I will be joining a group of fellow entrepreneurial women at the Jersey Shore. Being able to spend time with exceptional women who understand what I do is encouraging, invigorating, and comforting. We will be gathering at the home of one of the women and I thought the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set would make a wonderful house gift.
Colors and Details
The sky is washed with Soft Sky ink. I’ve used water-color paper as a basic cardstock. Why water-color paper? It is forgiving when water is applied. The sand is created with a dry sponge and Crumb Cake ink.
The details are done with Stamp’Write™ markers. For a very long time, I avoided purchasing the set; however, having the set offers lots of choices. Stampin’Up!® makes it so easy. All of the marker colors coordinate with paper, inks, and ribbon. For this project, I’ve used Soft Sky cardstock as a mat and Bermuda Bay ribbon as a trim.
The shell detail on the side of the banner is stamped with a stamp from So Many Shells and Bermuda Bay in.
Christmas trees always have lights. Mini pearls have been used as well as a rhinestone on the tree topper. I have also added some sparkle with Wink of Stella®
“Seas the Day” seemed to be the perfect sentiment for an entrepreneur.
The frame is approximately 6 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
