Lots of Happy Card Kit of 2018
There are some days when you want the ease of making cards from a kit. And yet, you just have to go beyond the directions. Today was one of those days for me. I purchased the Lots of Happy Card Kit from Stampin’Up!® because I loved the flowers. The first cards I made were the small ones with the stamp – Lots + Lots. I frequently send gifts to friends and these are small enough to fit into the boxes.
But – then I decided to make the larger cards. I do like the pencils for coloring; however, I also love the Stampin’ Blends Markers as well as the Stampin’Write™ Pens. I chose Stampin’ Blends Markers in Pink Pirouette, dark and light, for the flowers. The leaves were done using a Wild Wasabi Stampin’Write™ pen. I chose Powder Pink ribbon as an accent.
Following a pink theme, I used the same Stampin’ Blends Markers in Pink Pirouette for the flowers and the Wild Wasabi Stampin’Write™ pen for the leaves. But, I wanted to change the sentiment. The stamp I used can be found in the Petal Palette stamps set. I’ve also added a pop of color, using Melon Mambo card stock. It’s a perfect accent color for the Pink Pirouette. For this card I chose to cut coordinating circles.
Next, I chose the change up the colors using Daffodil Stampin’ Blends Markers for the flowers and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers for the leaves. I added some Crushed Curry ribbon for an accent.
And, finally, I used the same Deffodil Stampin’ Blends Markers for the flowers and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers for the leaves; however, I also used Daffodil Delight Cardstock.
There are so many wonderful variations using Stampin’Up!® products and they all coordinate.
